the stone, plaster, glass, and brick.
Razed by veined, muscular hands,
the battered remains of the church
scattered across the earth,
spirit and edifice leveled by inquisition.
Porcelain faith splintered as the congregation wandered
among broken, mortal relics beneath the rubble.
